Water Intake Habits: Right or Wrong?

One of the major components of our body is water percentage but have you ever realized when you need water and when you don’t. Our body gives signs and we need to observe it like dryness including dry lips, scratchy skin, irritated eyes and dry or rough hair. Inflammation can be caused due to less intake of water such as skin rashes and burns, clogged pores leading to acne, red eyes. Another thing to have a close look is urine color. Constipation is one of the sign which cannot be ignored. Little to no sweat is also a sign that your body needs water more. In order to overcome it you need to have water intake more but there is a proper way to drink water. Yes, you read it correct.        There is a pattern to drink water. Very foremost is to drink slowly so that the mixing of saliva is properly done and not just swallowing the water. Usually, we simply chug water but instead of that have small sips as water is heavy and will help in reducing weight too. Make a habit of drinking lukewarm or room temperature water. Avoid to have refrigerated water as it freezes down the nutrients of water, instead you can have ice cold water to burn more calories. You can also add some spices like cumin, cinnamon, coriander, fennel seeds, sandalwood, mint and ginger as all these aid to increase absorption and help in reducing weight.

Make a top list to drink 1 glass of water the moment you wake up, as it will help in hydrating your body and activate your cells. Set the goal to drink as many glasses of water in a day as half of your body weight. Never ever chug water. Last but not the least, when we have our meal we usually sit and eat it, similarly our body too needs to be relaxed when drinking water.
